Vampire Bait Pick of the Week: Zac Efron

So many celebs worth biting—so little time! Damon and Katherine have already dined on Mystic Falls’ hottest residents, but in our weekly Vampire Bait feature, we choose a well-known, delectable neck that we think they’d love to sink their teeth into! On the menu this week—a dish we’re sure Katherine would find impossible to resist: Zac Efron.

The Zefron is 100% mortal, but his floppy brown hair, delicate pale skin, and piercing blue eyes are practically vampire requirements. And, personally, we’d love to watch his innocent baby face light up with a devilish vamp grin, wouldn’t you? Yep—he’s totally bite-worthy, and we’ve got video evidence! Watch Zac at work in the trailer for his romantic new movie, Charlie St. Cloud, HERE and tell us what you think.

Fell’s Church

“But why?” said Bonnie. “Why would anything evil just happen to pick here?  Haven’t we been through enough?”

In the fourth TVD book, Dark Reunion, the question of why there’s SO much trouble in Fell’s Church (a.k.a. Mystic Falls) is finally addressed.  Stefan explains to Bonnie, Meredith, and Matt that evil is attracted to Fell’s Church due to “unquiet spirits.” And, of course, nobody in town attracts evilness quite like Elena and friends.

Bonnie, Meredith, and Matt could leave Fell’s Church or – for once – let someone else deal with all the bad vamps and restless spirits. They could. But they never do. They can’t seem to quit all the drama – or each other. Do you think they’re sort of addicted to the supernatural? I mean, how boring would their lives be if they moved to some town full of mortal vegetarians?

Would you let the right one in?

In honor of tonight’s TVD episode, “Let the Right One in,” we thought we’d take a closer look at one of the unspoken rules of living among immortals. You’re safe in your home, unless you invite a vampire in. Considering that Stefan and Damon are both vamps at heart, maybe the residents of Fell’s Church (a.k.a Mystic Falls) should avoid sending them invitations—just to be safe. They’ve already won themselves invites into the Gilbert household. But if you were one of their neighbors, would you open your door and say those three magic words? (That’s “Come on in,” Damon-swooners—not “I love you!”)

Matt and Bonnie

“When Bonnie reached out desperately, she found Matt’s hand already reaching for hers. They followed Meredith that way, holding on so hard it hurt.”— Dark Reunion

Starting in The Awakening, Bonnie openly admits that she yearns to find herself a steady love interest.  Well, as it turns out, sometimes what you’re searching for is right in front of you … and, for Bonnie, that something looks like it might be Matt Honeycutt.

We don’t want to give too much away, but if you’ve read Dark Reunion, then you might have noticed their growing chemistry.  Most people may think developing a crush on your best friend’s ex-BF would be a bad idea, but we think Matt and Bonnie both deserve to finally have someone special to care about.

We want YOUR opinion!  Would you like Matt and Bonnie to make things official or do you prefer them as just friends?

See what sparks Matt and Bonnie’s attraction in The Vampire Diaries: Dark Reunion.

Good vs. Evil in TVD

We love all the action that takes place with the evil forces of Fell’s Church, however, by L.J. Smith’s fourth book, The Dark Reunion, the “good guys” seem a little fed up with all the excitement. You can’t blame Stefan, Bonnie, Matt, and Meredith for feeling discouraged by all the near-death experiences and losses they’ve endured – all before graduating high school!

With so much battling between good and evil, sometimes it’s difficult to tell which side is winning.  Matt and Stefan say the “universe is evil” and talk about how they need to try to fight the good fight—no matter what.  But their outlook on the universe sounds kind of negative…

Do you think it’s the universe that gets them into trouble?  Or is the real problem that they’re hanging out with vampires in a town that naturally attracts supernatural forces?  Tell us what you think!

Find out what pushes the “good guys” to the brink in The Vampire Diaries: Dark Reunion.
