We love all the action that takes place with the evil forces of Fell’s Church, however, by L.J. Smith’s fourth book, The Dark Reunion, the “good guys” seem a little fed up with all the excitement. You can’t blame Stefan, Bonnie, Matt, and Meredith for feeling discouraged by all the near-death experiences and losses they’ve endured – all before graduating high school!
With so much battling between good and evil, sometimes it’s difficult to tell which side is winning. Matt and Stefan say the “universe is evil” and talk about how they need to try to fight the good fight—no matter what. But their outlook on the universe sounds kind of negative…

i think that the universe is evil but if they were living in some other place then they may have less evil coming at them but hey they have Stefan and Damon so who cares as long as they get to be with them
