Tonight at 8/7c on the CW, The Vampire Diaries returns, and so does Elena’s birth mother. It looks like this mother-daughter reunion won’t exactly be warm and fuzzy. But what can you expect when your mother’s a vampire and your boyfriend’s brother is the blood-sucker who turned her? Maybe Isobel is just passing through in honor of Mother’s Day. Or maybe she’s the latest addition to Mystic Falls’ growing list of permanent vampire residents. If you were Elena, what would you prefer?

Isobel is a very poor excuse for a mother from what i’ve heard.
I have not seen Vampire Diaries in a very long time because i’ve been busy and have not been able to watch thee new episodes lately.
My friends tell me all the time how much they are addicted to it.
I think Elena is an amazing character so far!!!!!!!
Now that, i”ve been able to watch the show, i”m looking forward to see it soon!!!!!!

I love last nights episode damon is awesome and gorgeous is the perfect man sweet, evil, caring, protective since the begining I thought Elena would go 4 him but any way in the latest episodes Estefan real personality it’s been reveled and I think he is worse than Damon, Jeremy and Anna they r soo cute I hope they can b together without him being turn… Isobel should be killed she’s not beneficial to anyone so is jhon. Isobel is a horrible person! But deep down i think she cares for Elena,but I think she is a horrible mother. I cannot believe what Bonnie did!! It made me soo mad at her! She used to be one of my favorite characters,but now not so much!! I don’t mind if Elena goes for Damon cause that means Stefan is free,,hahaha,,jkjk,,I think she should stay with Stefan because he loves her and will do anything for her,and will always protect her,,and he is HOT!,haha well I can’t wait till season 2!!!!

LOVED this episode!! Probably one of the best ones out of them all! I ended up watching it again. I even enjoyed watching Mia Kirshner’s character play Elena’s outwardly evil and uncaring mother. Every line she delivered was entertaining.
I can’t stand the fact that Uncle John is really Elena’s father. That’s just wrong!! And he’s one ugly, weird looking man and a horrible character!
Also, I could really feel Alaric’s pain and disbelief at seeing his now vampire wife after all those years. His acting was great. And Damon just keeps getting better and better and more sinfully gorgeous. I’m happy to see Bonnie again and I can’t wait to see what happens. I know she “hates” Damon right now, but I wanna see them get together already!! I love the tension between them.

I can’t believe Smallville is taking Vampire Diaries place. There better be a next season or I going to be really disappointed. I LOVE Damon and I will cry if that is the end to the beautiful love he has with Katherine. I also need to know if he ever finds her beacause he spent th last145 years looking for her just to find out she didn’t even care. She deserves to ROAST!!!
