There’s nothing like watching images from a favorite book come to life on camera. TVD on TV has captured a lot of things that L.J. Smith readers love. But as fans of L.J’s novels know, there’s a lot more to the story than what transpired in the first 10 episodes.
What scene from the books are you dying to see played out on the show? (hmm…I wonder if the CW has any possessed house pet moments up their sleeve?)

As of today, the arrival of all new TVD episodes is just two short weeks away! And here’s some more good news: Thanks to the passionate voting of fans like you (and us), The Vampire Diaries will return as the official People’s Choice Award winner for Best New TV Drama (it’s always nice to rack up an award or two while on hiatus). But never mind the accolades, we just want to know what happens next. So tell us, now that you’ve had some time to dwell on the cliffhanger that left Elena in peril, got any predictions about the new eps arriving January 21st?
Is Tyler Lockwood’s tough exterior a front for a damaged heart or something much more dangerous? The last time we saw him on TVD, he was on the brink of an emotional breakdown. And, even though he punched Jeremy square in the face, we couldn’t help but feel a little sorry for him. He’s quietly dealing with the disappearance of Vicki, a girl he loved but couldn’t be with . . . and his father has a definite evil streak.
Whether you’ve read L.J. Smith’s books or not, the show delivers its own twists and turns that keep everyone guessing. Some TVD fans think Damon is the right man for Bonnie . . . but he isn’t the only one on her radar. L.J. It’s holiday time, but all we can think about is The Vampire Diaries marathon! The promised back-to-back recap of Season One runs Monday, 12/14, to Friday, 12/18, from 8 to 10pm ET/PT on the CW.
