If you’re one of the many TVD fans who’d like to see Damon and Bonnie get together, do yourself a favor and read L.J. Smith’s TVD novel, The Return: Nightfall. The moments before and after the quote above are enough to make Bonnie and Damon fans (like us) endlessly happy.

TVD Couples

There’s so much to love about TVD, but one thing that we obviously can’t get enough of is Stefan and Elena’s relationship.  We might be a little jealous of what they have, but it’s fun to read about their romance and watch it unfold on the show.

Re-reading the series has gotten us thinking about more than just Stefan and Elena though.  There are other characters we’d like to see together.  For example, Bonnie and Damon … some would say that they make a great couple on the show.

We already know what happens in the books, but are there any unrequited relationships that you would love to see develop on the show?  Give us YOUR thoughts!
