The stunning first season of The Vampire Diaries is over. So, what now??? It’s going to be a long, hot summer without any new episodes! But don’t worry . . . we’ve got a few things to keep you satisfied.
We’ll be reliving the entire first season of The Vampire Diaries, starting with the pilot episode TONIGHT at 8/7c on the CW! Still not enough to get you through the show’s hiatus? Well, as most TVD fans already know, the series all began with L.J. Smith’s novels–and now is the perfect time to start reading, re-reading, or finish reading the whole series (it’s also the best way to get your fill of the sexy Salvatore brothers). We plan to re-read L.J’s books from The Awakening to Shadow Souls.

I have read all the books but the last one, and the two copies are at the library but are allways checked out! I finally placed a hold, but am still board, so I now read the 122? pages of the book on the link givin at the sample part after you read aout the book on this website. But IDK about others, but I am DAMON ALL THE WAY!! He’s hot and sweet, and caring for elena (who I wish I was) and has a fisty side of him that I ADORE!!! Thank you Ian for playing a perfect impression of damon, u keep mr alive!!! But I will of couse be watching THE RE-RUNS!!! Ahh, I love the AMPIRE DIARIES!!!!

I’m only up to reading the 2nd book. Loved 1st season, even though I missed out on the first 5 episodes. Can’t wait to get it on DVD. Does anyone know when it will be released on DVD? And, I definitely cannot wait for season 2! Team Damon all the way!

I’m only on the third book. I just started reading them. I’ve watch the entire season on “tv-dome.net” and re watched it to get my best friend hooked too!! my cousin and I’ll be re watchin it together this summer!! and collecting the rest of the series! I have been buying the books with the show cover…do you know if they will be reprinting shadow souls and nightfall with new covers?

My favorite book is Shadow Souls and I have been rereading it since I finished three days after it came out!!! I am super happy because all of my friends have taken to calling me Elena because they imagine her looking like me when they read the books! My friends have nick-names too. Sarah is Bonnie, Alicia is Caroline, and Dakota is Meredith!

Amazon has it (Midnight) coming out in 2011, but I heard that it could be either July 1 (highly unlikely) or December 8. And Stefan’s Diaries #1 is coming out on November 2nd, according to Amazon. #2 is Jan. 4, 2011. And Stefan’s Diaries # 3 is coming out…Mar. 15, 2011, or at least the paperback. They actually don’t have hardbacks for any of the diaries on Amazon (what I’m looking at right now), LOL, or else I haven’t found them.
But I’ve got a question-at the end of SS, Shinichi tells the secrets. Who do you think is hiding each secret?

Secrets? Here, I’ll put them down excactly at Shinichi said them;
1. One of you has kept a secret all their life and is doing so even now.
2. One of you is a murderer-and I am not speaking of vampire, or a mercy killing, or anything like that.
3. And then there is the question of the true identity of Sage-good luck with your research there.
4. And what about the secret, stolen kiss?
5. And then there is the question of what happened the night of the motel, that it seems that no one but Elena can recall. You might ask her sometime about her theories about Camelot.
LOL, every single one of those is written down and which secret belongs to what person is too. The murderer one is hard, though I bet that it’s Matt because he’s possessed?….

1. I think is Meredith because she did keep that secret about her grandfather beiong attacked.
2. I think it could be Matt, too! Or if #1 isn’t Meredith I also think it might be her. Either way she is keeping some sort of secret from them all.
3. I can’t even start to think about all the possibilities of Sage’s true identity. There’s something big that happened in his past with Damon though…

1. I also think that Meredith has the secret, because of what Shinichi said about them not sucking Meredith dry of all her secrets yet, or whatever he said.
2. Matt is possessed. There is nooo question about it, he DID go crazy at Caroline’s house like she said, the malach got him, he couldn’t account for some of the night because he was possessed. They’re using him, so he is the murderer.
3. I think that Sage is a Guardian, or the Salvatore brothers’ father, for some reason. Don’t even ask. Do they say something about the brothers’ father dying? Because he could’ve been turned into a vampire without them knowing.
4. It’s either Elena and Damon or Bonnie and Damon. Either way, Damon’s involved.
5. I have not clue about the Camelot thing, it’s just what is said in the book, and if you want to know what happened in the motel, read Shadow Souls.
I could give more evidence for each, but I bet you that everyone is sick of me commenting soooo much on here, so I’m going to stop… unless…I don’t know. But I’m still going to find out when the actual release date it. Amazon is wrong. They have to be.

Everyone who is thinking they have no new Vampire Diaries books or episodes, you are wrongggg! 7th Vampire Diaries comes out on the 1st of July! People are saying it comes out December 2010 but L.J. Smith’s wikipedia says it comes out July 1, 2010. yay!
